Well,
My friend wants to buy a digicam this week, with a maximum budget of not more than 20k..
He wants it with good optical zoom, because he'll be taking pics of patients, many of them being intraoral pics..
It should also be suitable for personal use.. So not too hefty like DSLRs.. Please suggest something that is a little compact (if not real sleek)..
A 5MP cam is enough, 'coz I realise the concept behind MP numbers.. :D
Right now I have the Canon A710 IS in mind.. though its 7 MP and not-so-sleek, I've heard good reviews about ti, and its coming to around 17K only..
Any other suggestions..??

I am mulling the idea of getting myself a handycam.. Max budget of 25K.. I'm not really sure of my requirements though..
I feel I'd like to have a good optical zoom..
IT should also have a memory card slot..
I don't know if recording in a miniDV tape is preferred, or shoud I go for those which record into miniDVDs or DVDs itself...??
A large LCD display is necessary...
IS is preferred..
An Svideo out or composite display out is necessary..
Any suggestions reg this..??
