Great links. I've opened my old qd several times with my friend's torx 6 but was afraid of doing it to my W710i. But thanks to these guides i think i could borrow that torx again and take a peek under the hood of my W710i and see what makes it tick.

hey plz someone post the tutorial on how to dim the backlight for my 5300 that'll require tweaking the software and not the hardware. And only Nokia can do that. For some unknown reasons, Nokia doesn't provide brightness control in S40 phones.
