Hey all
Just wanna ask is the Inbuilt Cd Dvd creator enuf for minimal burning ? Will the Optical disk be burnt correctly? Or should I use a software ? If so then tell installation meathod? and application too..

all the apps works perfectly in Gnome.for eg: I am happy with gnomebaker,brasero,graveman,nautilus cd burner(it lacks expert options) etc even someone more wise will be using k3b.but u need to download all kde/qt stuff if u want that in Ubuntu.

No.Nautilus CD burner only burns data cd's/dvd's afaik.

Yes it burns your data just fine like XP's inbuilt does, or like Vista's for that matter. No issues, just try a re-writable disc and see the truth for yourself.

^^ A que.. which software to install then ? Also the Cd burnt thru Default can be used again if space is left or not :?

There are 2 good ones you can try.
1. GnomeBaker
2. K3B
And yes, I guess the default supports multi-session but I don't see an option to enable/disable it. If the disc's nearly full, it locks it up, else it behaves like a multi-session disc. Pretty similar to XP at that.

even there are many writing softwares like gnometoaster,xcdroast etc.one app which is developed properly after gnomebaker is brasero.nice ui it got.
