immediately after the pc restarts turn it back on and goto the BIOS by pressing del..(maybe diff depending on ur mobo)...thre check ur processor temperature....it should be in a subsection called hardware monitoring....if its anywhere above 75 C then its a heating prob and u need to check ur airflow and cab fans....if its normal then check ur gfx card temp after turning on the pc and right click on desktop>settings>advanced>geforce 7600 gt>temp setting......it should not be more than 75 (atleast my friends dosent go beyond 75:D )...iff the prob is not here also then its most probably a failing PSU( do post the wattage)...

ya maybe due to some faulty video drivers ....or direct x and does it happen with all the games ??....try the latest forceware drivers and directx 9c...also try changing the PSU...which is most likely to be the cause if not drivers and direct x....hope it helps:) :) :) :)

I re installed Direct X and Video Drivers and still problem exists.
Can someone tell me the working of PSU in brief .How this problem is related to PSU ?

Doesn't it ever happen when you're not running games?
Would suggest first a format and fresh install of the os and drivers. If the problem still persists then start zeroing in on your hardware....psu,ram etc.

right click my computer go to properties click advance tab, settings button under startup&recovery uncheck check box that says automatic restart. this way you should get an error screen (everyones favorite BSOD) which should be more specific about the error. Google the error, or search microsofts knowledge base for the error. what r ur specs for your computer and what game is giving you the problems? are you running Norton (it is a resource hog), or any firewall/antivirus. does this game work online as well. it could be conflicting software, could be crapware(virus/trojan etc.) when was the last time you ran a full sys scan for threats. it could be Hardware related but usually is not the case.
