I am using two hard disks - 40GB in the Primary and 120GB in the secondary. I want to remove the primary disk, but I'm affraid to lose my Docs even my already customised Windows as customization is a very time consuming. How can I remove the primary disk without losing the docs? Can I restore my current Windows by using Norton Ghost 2003 at the secondary drive? Pls suggest, what to do?

If its JUST ur docs, copy them to the secondry drive.
By removing, we consider u r removing it from the pc PHYSICALLY . . right ?

when U remove your primary hard disk (40 gb)..and start ur system BIOS will automaticall detect your second hard disk(120 gb) as your primary hard disk.
