nokia 5300 unlocking problem

hi friends my uncle brought a mobile nokia 5300 from canada for me.
but when i inserted my sim card in it shows restriction code after switch on
but i tried a lot with 1234 or another combinations but it s not working but without my sim it works well i mean it gives functions like music etc but when i tried with sim it demands for restriction code what could it please tell me urgently i will very thankful to you

I think its locked with some network of Canada.... So it can only be used with that network only. However there are some sites which gives unlocking facility, use google....

yup... or goto some local shop and get it flashed or network unlocked... abt 100 bucks..
