Hi guys... when the computer is not properly shutdown then it shows an error msg where it asks to run the scandisk n we can hit any key within 10 secs to avoid it...

Is there any way possible NOT to get this option? I want it to forcefully run the checkdisk option, since everbody invariably presses a key to avoid it wich may harm my system in the long run

u can use tune-up utilities.system control > start & mntnce and set the time there to 0.

else if u dont have tune-up, try this ;

regedit > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Session Manager .
on the right side look for 'AutoChkTimeOut'
if its not there > rightclick>New>Dword value.
Rename it as 'AutoChkTimeOut'. now double click it and give the desired time delay in seconds. keep it 0 so that there wont be a countdown. click ok. reboot.
