YouTube videos not playing on Debian

I am unable to play videos from YouTube.com
I am using Debian 4 and my browser is Iceweasel.
Even tried on Konqueror, but same problem.

did you install libflashplugin. I guess that's what's it's called.
apt-cache search flash
should give you the package name.

debian 4 has a default plash plugin

File name: libflash-mozplugin.so
Flash Movie player Version 0.4.12 compatible with Shockwave Flash 4.0

but i think this is an older version.
installing new version.
will test and post here.

dont know what happened, but started working.

open ur firefox,in address bar type about:plugins

check whether plugins are installed.
U hv to install java,mozplugger,totem-plugin,mozilla-mplayer,flash-plugin-nonfree,realplayer etc from synaptic pkg manager.
search for good repos.


As ur running Debian-let's jump ahead and use Sid(unstable repo).It sure Rocks!!
