I really enjoyed writing a letter like this since I don't get a lot of reasons to do so. This one is as a reply to a mail in which I was told i purchased 4 books and had not payed for them.
Dear Ms. ||||||||||,
I have just received another reminder from your side for the following books
The Ambler Warning
True Believer
Tyrannosaur Canyon
Quite Honestly
Account No. x-xxx-xxx-x
Order No. xxx-xxx
P Code 021-0604 (05)
B. Key 212-00-03
Bill Date - 08/05/2007
I have never heard of the titles you have mentioned, am not interested in them and have definitely not asked for them. If you had ever known me a bit, you would have noticed that none of the titles even remotely relate to my interests.
I am also not impressed with the language you mails use. If I had, indeed, received your reminder, you would have heard from me by now. And I am not interested in getting in touch with your Accounts Department as you call it, 'for their further action'.
I am sad to find this occurring again shortly after our previous communication and consider sending this email as another inconvenience. I have been a subscriber for over 20 years and this is the second time I am facing this. Has there been a change in your accounting department or so? If so, please do advise them that it doesn't impress your subscribers to be harassed and I expect that you atleast cross check your records before sending reminders.
I would appreciate it if you could set this matter right at the earliest and just send me my monthly subscriptions. I have enough book stores near my place of residence and am quite satisfied to get the books I am interested in, from there and in any case I have no interest in Tyrannosaurs or any of the dinosaurs. They went extinct a long time ago, in case you didn't notice.
I trust my disappointment is not out of line.
Thanking you
