Are those parition NTFS or Fat.

U can do this with NTFS only.
U can restrict users to access those partitions by going to security tab of Properties window of the partition.

Please see that U must login through Administrator Account or UR account should be of Administratot Type.

AES (Advanced Encryption Standard)

The AES is a cryptographic algorithm that was approved by the US National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) as a replacement for the Data Encryption Standard (DES) which had been approved for the encryption of financial information since the late 1970's.

In the late 1990's, DES was felt by many experts to be vulnerable to brute force attack by specialized computing machines, and to have a more limited utility where even desktop PCs have immense processing power available to them, and the Internet allows attackers to harness the spare time of hundreds or even thousands of computers.

NIST held a public competition for a replacement, and a number of algorithms were proposed. One entrant, Rijndael (now known as AES), was selected above the others and has been recommended as suitable for protecting computer information.

This has been done to provide you with confidence that your information has been protected using the best techniques currently available, and that it will stay adequately protected for some time to come.

"Assuming that one could build a machine that could recover a DES key in a second (i.e., try 255 keys per second), then it would take that machine approximately 149 thousand-billion (149 trillion) years to crack a 128-bit AES key. To put that into perspective, the universe is believed to be less than 20 billion years old."

"Barring any attacks against AES that are faster than key exhaustion, then even with future advances in technology, AES has the potential to remain secure well beyond twenty years."

Important Notice :

1. Please remember your password clearly , if you lost it ,we have no way to recover .
2 . In v2.0 , we changed the encryption algorithm . So v2.0 can not decrypt the drive encrypted by v1.0 . Decrypt with v1.0 first and then install v2.0 .
3 . Do not encrypt current system boot disk , if you did , you must plug the disk to a bootable machine for decrypting .

HDD Password Protection 3.2
Link:- http://www.softpedia.com/get/Security/Lockdown/HDD-Password-Protection.shtml

Description
HDD Password Protection is the program intended for restriction of access to a computer and protection of the information on hard disks from non-authorized access.

1) BOOT PROTECTION
Ther is an effective mode of protection of booting the computer from a hard disk. It is intended for those who wants to protect the computer from outside access. This mode does not allow to protect the information on a computer, but will not give to boot a computer from the protected hard disk.

2) PARTITION'S PROTECTION
Some hard disks have many partitions. The given mode of protection allows to hide any of such partitions. Operational systems will not find partition with such protection, and programs of management of partitions of hard disks will sense, that this partition does not exist at all and display on his place free space.

3) LOW-LEVEL PROTECTION
There is a most reliable mode of protection of hard disks. This protection blocks all attempts of reading/writing from all protected disk. Such disk will be present at system, however it will look like, as though it only from factory, and will not give to do anything with it. This protection will give only 5 attempts to unset protection.
