Video RAM blues......

I have a gigabyte 939 pin mobo with a GeForce 6100 GPU onboard and 256MB of video ram. But lately, the system's showing that I have only 128MB of it for no apparent reason . I tried reinstalling windows, updationg the bios, but still I'm getting only 128MB. Is there a problem with my mobo? Please help.

no ur system is running absolutely fine.its showing only 128MB of ram cuz the other 128MB is being used as vram by the onboard gfx.

but i've got 512mb of ram (with 16mb shared). i had 256mb of video ram....thats bcoz of my geforce 6100 gpu. but lately i'm getting just 128mb of video ram. is there is a prob with my mobo??
