help!! my pc won't play video!!

:confused: my pc is suddenly unable to video files of any format, except for .flv .
any & all players(wmp, winamp,jetaudio, irfaanview,vcdcutter, & even Nero!) just hang up whenever i try to play a video.:confused: :confused:
i tried everything i could think up:reinstalled the players, graphics drivers, directx...everything; but no avail. can ne1 tell me whats wrong? i dont wish to change to some other player like vlc,gom..whatever.

p.s:ask 4 my sys info if u need it.

have you installed Klite codec pack (http://www.filehippo.com/download_klite_codec_pack/)? And play videos with Media Player Classic or VLC media player... and not winamp.

I think the power supply has gone kaput and is not able to supply enough power to the video card to decode videos.Better test with another power supply.Hope this helps u cause this was what i encountered with my nvidia 6600.

Install Vista Codec Pack(even for XP) that came with Digit in April...

You may also go for K-Lite or ACE Mega Codec pack...

This should solve your Problem...
