New config suggestion

Hi Guys,

My friend is finally planning to upgrade his antique P3 - 866 MHz system. He had actually asked me for a suggestion with the following config :

MotherBoard -

ASUS P5PLD2-VM 945G,S,L,16xPCX,C2D 4200
Intel D946 946G,S,L,16xPCX,C2D 4700

Processor -

Intel E4300 Conroe - 1.8 GHz 800MHz,2 MB,LGA 8200
Intel E6300 Conroe - 1.86 GHz 1066MHz,2 MB,LGA 9100

RAM -
OEM / Brnd. 1.0 GB-DDR2-533 533 MHZ - PC4000 2800 / 2950

DVD Writer -
Sony Box DVD-Writer 18xD 18x, Dual Layer, 8.5GB 2000 / 2000

HDD -
Seagate 160GB - SATA Baracuda / Puma 7200r 2600

Cabinet -
Zebronics High - 10 Models w/USB, Audio & Fan 1500~2500


SMPS -

SMPS Zebronics 360W Pure- Platinum Srs 1600


I had suggested :

AMD X2 3600+ processor
ASUS M2NPV-MX MBoard
Transcend DDR2 533 MHz RAM
PCIe GeForce 7300GS
Sony Box DVD-Writer 18xD 18x, Dual Layer, 8.5GB 2000 / 2000
Seagate 160GB - SATA Baracuda / Puma 7200r 2600
Zebronics High - 10 Models w/USB, Audio & Fan 1500~2500
SMPS Zebronics 360W Pure- Platinum Srs 1600

The rest of the components ( Kbd, Mouse, Monitor etc) are available.

So provide ur comments on the same. He wants the cost to be below 32000 bucks.

i think ur suggestion is better .....

the C2D config will be better if u friend can shell out bout 3k more for the mobo (MSI P965 NeoF).it costs bout 6k.
also get the Zebronics 500w Platinum instead of the 360W.
