This is the first online store, which have effected these prices in India. Let's give credit to these guys. I think this site is administered by some of digitians here, so they know what is happening arround in discussions here.

There is price drop here on this site immediately but is it realistic. i.e AMD X2 4800+ was costing here @ 9200 earlier and now it is @ 8200. Price cut of Rs 1000 only where as in actual it should be 2000-3000. Or are the taxes eating up this advantages?

i dont think that we'll get a price cut of 2k-3k out here cuz of the taxes

* Model ( Previous Price to New Price )
* X2 6000+ ( $464 to 241 )
* X2 5600+ ( $326 to $188 )
* X2 5200+ ( $232 to $178 )
* X2 5000+ ( $222 to $167 )
* X2 4800+ ( $217 to $136 )
* X2 4400+ ( $170 to $121 )
* X2 4000+ ( $144 to $104 )
* X2 3800+ ( $113 to $83 )
* X2 3600+ ( $102 to $73 )

if u want to buy a good decent enough pc i would say go for 5600+ if amd.....since its one step below e6600 intel..though amd 6000+ being more near....at oc it losses ....becoz the architecture change makes it winner in oc.....so if u want to run at default....5600+ for budget ppl in the sense...who r ready to spend till 9-10k on proccy..if u ready to pay above 10k+ e6600 rules...price cut frm intel on 22nd april..so till may 10 ard ull get e6600 for 12k brand new.....and 2nd hand for 10k or less since most will run 4 quad cores.......
but for serious budget pc really amd has heated the market now 50% downfall
expect serious changes in a week.....500 less is nuthin..another 700 fall in ard the corner@ kooldude

That is what I am saying. The AMD X2 4800+ should be arround Rs 6200 new prices without tax [ X2 4800+ ( $217 to $136 )]. Where as it is sold for 8200, that means is it a tax of Rs 2000?

What is percentage of duty & all tax on hardware??

What is difference between X4800+ & 5000+ , both are 2.5Ghz & 1MB L2 cache. Is it 90 nm & 65 nm??

The prices on theitwares are inclusive of taxes for all the mumbai buyers only mere shipping charges extra tatz it!!

For outside mumbai another 4-5% and shipping charges have to be included??? Is it ?

Dnt compare the rates with $ Dollars $ and i guess it takes a bit of time for the rates to change in India and Tax is'nt Vat the normal 4% its CST depends on state to state and its very minimal as per what i know...

It is time to go shopping for AMD now. unblievable AMD X2 4800+ which was @ 9200 prior to Price cut is now Rs 6500. Almost the dollar conversion rate. Thus now the benifits of price cut has been delegated to end users. It is surprising that it is too fast and almost within 3 days of official anouncements by AMD. Moreover, it is online store, which allows people from all over the country to buy stuff. For yourself check updated prices at www.theitwares.com (http://www.theitwares.com)

Alrite if u say so but as i said "it takes a bit of time for the rates to change in India"
