Prepaid users ........ U have 2 submit ur DOC`s every year ............ isnt this painful ....
just got this SHOCKING info from HUTCH gallery itself .........
so b ready 2 visit gallery`s EVERY YEAR :-( ...........
dont know abt other MOBILE SERVICES .........

I haven't paid them a visit yet and my cell is working yet. Is this only with Hutch or with all the mobile service providers?

yes..and me already suffered..i mean i visited yesterday coz my outgoing was cancelled due to this reason....

Na, my dad have BSNL, RIM... No problem with it...and i use AIRTEL, still have no such problem, but one friend facing such case .... He submit his voter ID card 3 times in last 2 weeks, still he cant make calls, he is very angry on Hutch....may be change his operator......

read on TOI some days ago, that Vodafone have no plan in near future to bring 3G in India.... :( 2-3 sal se sun raha hu 3G is coming.....coming ..... still coming :p
3g has already been in testing here ... dont know of its commercial release

If you think Vodafone is better than Reliance, then you must come out of the cave and get real. Seriously, Arun Sarin is even more of a corporate monkey.
i have submitted my doc`s 3 times & stilll they continue 2 dissconnect it without any explanation ..........
& they start with "we r sorry abt ....."
feels like breaking their BIG glass @ GALLERY just 2 get PROPER ATTENTION from their BIG BOSSESS ........
as these ppl @ gallery r only TRAINEE`S ............

I agree with you. The customer care of almost every mobile phone company sucks. Call up Airtel, and you will get three different answers from three different call center guys.
If you think Vodafone is better than Reliance, then you must come out of the cave and get real. Seriously, Arun Sarin is even more of a corporate monkey. dont know abt sarin much but certainly the name vodafone has a better say and commands more respect than reliance and ambani

Hutch customer care SUX, but I only subitted docs, when I got the conn 2 years back, no problems ever (hopefully never).

Trust me....Hutch sucks big time now....
They provided a real good service and great customer care....but now its all gone...
I was a hutch user for the past 2 years and now i've shifted to BSNL...its really cheap nd great....
I hope Hutch's condition improve after this vodafone takeover...
DOC = ur document `s ........ pan card etc ....... visit their site ........
& u wont B informed bt u would exp. sudden de-activation .........
@ GALLERY i did meet ppl with SIMILAR problems & saw loosing their COOL heads .......... hope HUTCH ppl do something else options r available ........... & they might lose many subscribers ...........

Totally Agree.... i have lots of this experience....:mad: they confuse a lot.....
only airtel relationship center is provide almost right info, but you have to go to those relationship center....:mad:

Oh..okay, this happened to me about 8 months ago, 2 weeks after I first bought the sim card. But I went down to the hutch office and turns out that the dude from who I bought the sim didn't send it on to the Hutch office.
I photocopied my license, gave them a passport photo, and that's it. No worries since!

This is TRAI Rule, they want all Prepaid existing and new connections to be verified.

i dont have a problem, i meet my freinds daily so no mobile no problem BSNL rocks, i borrow mobile if so needed . who cares about charges BSNL still rocks. Die Hutch Die Airtel Die :D

Yeah..I just submitted Docs for my 3 year old hutch prepaid connection..they are asking all prepaid users to update their documents in a phased manner..due to regulation by Govt. Of India..

My 4 year old Hutch prepaid outgoing was disconnected about 15 days back citing non-availability of documents.
It was my good decision at the time of submitting my docs that I had taken an acknowledgment with a stamp and sign from Hutch shop.
When the outgoing was disconnected I went to the Hutch shop and asked for the reason....when they said no docs.... I asked them what were they doing for past 4 years....why did they woke up now?....was it not a security lapse from them!....when they couldn't reply....and went on giving excuses.....I simply produced my acknowledgenmt.
The rest is history, I returned home without giving another copy of docs and my outgoing was activated within an hour.
One more thing never give your docs to the the local shops from where you purchase SIM, just take the SIM and submit your docs at the Hutch shop....though it takes a day or two for activation but its safe....there have been reports of more than one connections on the docs submitted to these people.
