hi
i have a 2.8 gz intel proccesor(the hot one with hyperthreding and pinless design). and a intel orignal 915 gav mobo.
i have 256x2=512 mb ddr ram at 400 mhz.
i am planning to buy 1gb more ram. which is the best ddr ram.
and is ddr2 supported by my mobo.

no ddr2 ram is not supported by ur mobo.
get a stick of 1gb ddr 400.
go for Transcend jet ram.

sud cost u bout 5k.
i myself use ZION ram sticks with Hynix chipset.they cost bout 4.2-4.4k.they r pretty good ram

Intel 915 doesn't support DDR II...

the best you can get out of ur current configuration is..to sell off the 2x256 MB DDR and get 2x512 MB DDR @400 Mhz..of Zion or transcend..

Zion 512 MB DDR @400Mhz ---->Rs.1800
Transecnd ---->around Rs. 2250 (Not sure)
