Well I don't know exactly what speaker set I have, its about 3-4 years old, bought at the same time as this (http://www.thinkdigit.com/forum/showthread.php?p=445313) monitor I have a problem with at the moment. Only one of my speakers works right now. No matter how much I adjust the contact of the plug, it doesn't work. So can this be fixed, or is it like my monitor in this (http://www.thinkdigit.com/forum/showthread.php?p=445313) thread?

Would the Altec Lansing ATP3 be a good budget option? Since my monitor is not working as well and I will need to replace that, then would an LCD monitor with speakers in it be okay? I mean, the speaker quality should be decent for some music and a playing FIFA 07 (only one I like atm). Or are those speakers of pathetic quality? My monitor budget is 10k and my speakers is maximum 3k which I think is the cost of the ATP3.

Looks like ur speaker is gone

Ul get Viewsonic 17" LCd with speakers. Quality is pretty bad. But it depends on wat ur looking at. If u dont listen to music and stuff, it may just do. Ask the dealer for a demo and decide.
The ATP3 is a good investment. I suggest u go for it
