friends i bought my pc in the year 2k3 and its a 2.8GHZ with Mercury 845 model and 768MB or transend ram..
my motherbord doesnot supports graphic card and so i want to change my Mobo.. problem is latest mobos are not compatable with my processor as now processor comes without pin and my processor has pins what to do now???
i cant break them :)

your proocy wont work on an 865 mobo[supports only HT proccys with 533 or 800 FSB]. U ll have to look for an 845 mobo with AGP slot. U can get any AGP card for that mobo from 6200 to 7900 or X300 to X1900XT.
Intel has stopped production of 845 mobos, but still MSI and ASUS has some models. U shud first confirm that the model has AGP slot. Best luck for the hunt.
