hi ppl. i have heard about sftwr which shut down ur p.c at a predecided time.
it's like a switch off timer. u set the the time when u wanna shut ur p.c down and at that time it will shut down the p.c automatically, without the need of a user.
but i don't know the name. do you know??????

There are loads of such softwares available. try this Auto Poweron and shutdown (http://www.lifsoft.com/) from lifsoft. It can not only shutdown, but wake from hibernate states and can do a lot of other things.
