Hello Everyone !!!

Friends, One of my friend want to pruchase an Old mobile and fortunately he is getting one N gage in very good condition.

But the problem is that how any one can know that phone is coming through some reliable source means its not has been stolen.

Is there any way to know that -

Phone is not stolen from any where.
What is the manufatured date/ how much time a cell phone has been used.
and other legal issues.

Thanks

^^ that code doesn't show the manufacturing date. It shows the date of the firmware. Manufacturing date can only be found on the phone's box.

Many a times, if the phone is repaired there are chances that the mobile imei serial sticker might be teared and they just put a new one.

Type *#06# and note down the serial no and then switch off the mobile and check this no on the sticker found after removing the battery

on nokia bill, imei no is mentioned. compare the no with the imei of the phn by typing *#06#
