I dont know about Vista, but in Xp you can change the location of the Program Files via The Registry.
Type regedit in Run box.
Navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion
You would find the entry ProgramFilesDir
Change its value fom "C:\Program Files" to D:\
Good Buddy. I also learnt something. :)

Thanks Indyan... This is something I very much need, 'coz my OS is in C:\ and all my program installations are in D:\ This will spare me the effort of manually changing the installation path every time..
