Hey friends there is 3rd tutorial from me. What will happen when u will get infected by some virus and it have deleted whole of your important files and u also didn't want to loose all of your settings by reinstalling.:( At this time recovery console will not help then who will help here's a trick from me. When u press F8 to agree license agreement then setup searches for previous windows installation. If it detects Windows XP then press R to repair windows. No program and setting will be lost but all the patches you have applied will be lost. Note: I have tested for only Windows XP Pro. not for other edition but i think it should work in other editions also.

Sorry friends you are wrong I have tested it on my computer and also repair it several times. Friends you don't have to reinstall any driver or software but you have to reinstall each and every patch(as written).

no you dont need to reinstall drivers or software..
this repair method only checks and repairs windows files and components and preserves all registery and settings and software
btw my advice is to stay away from this kind of repair as it results in a windows that is unstable and jittery.
it should only be used when u r not able to boot into windows or cant gain access to ur user a/c or u cant repair some windows problem. After this repair u will defnately be able to login and get a functional windows system tho not optimal performance. but this is the best method to gain access to a inoperable OS.

ya and ur OS crawls like ant too.. its better only for recovery, not for working.. a fresh install is fresh..
