Windows Movie Maker giving trouble

hi guys

I am facing a problem with the Windows Movie Maker

when i try to import anything in the collection it gives and unspecified error message and the importing fails

earlier it was working fine for me

i will be very thankful if someone helps me solve this problem.

Did you install any Codec pack recently. It happened to me, when I installed a Codec pack, Windows Movie Maker perennially started crashing. But later when I removed it worked. Try it.

well guys
it gives me an unspecified error when i try to import any file (mp3, jpg to b precise) into the collection and finally the importing fails.
