> Run
> Type "regedit" and click OK
> Open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Uninstall
> Remove the corresponding entry from the list.
> Close Registry editor
Alternatively you can use Windows Installer Clean-up (http://download.microsoft.com/download/E/9/D/E9D80355-7AB4-45B8-80E8-983A48D5E1BD/msicuu2.exe) utility for cleaning unwanted entries.

Ccleaner is not effective in cleaning invalid registry entries. It is a good junk file cleaner.
WinXP Manager has one of the best Registry cleaner. It is a paid program.
