I have HP PSC 1410 Scan/Print/Copy. It worked in Linux 8.1 for Printing. Now will it work for scanning on FC-6?

Yes scanning and printing will work but copying will not. In order to copy any documents, you'll need to manually scan and print.

Copying is onmachine. i.e. on the printer and not on the computer. Also if any extra driver is needed please tell me.

Oh...I thought that it had something like Photosmart series where the driver support copying from PC as well.
Anyways, you'll need to install hplip (HP Linux Imaging and Printing) package to get your printer and scanner working. If you keep your printer switched "On" at the time of installing FC 6, then this package will be installed automatically and you will be asked to configure your MFD.
