Its strange actually but when I reinstalled Win XP SP2 yesterday after my Windows crashed due to power trip while I was scanning my PC with Norton Antivirus, its not recognising my CD ROM !
I have a Samsung SC 152C model 52xCD ROM which is perfectly alright with no defect !
Its working when I boot using a Bootable CD but not on WIN XP!

The windows error message that I get is

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

Where can I download the drivers from ???????????

Pls help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The solution is given here:

CD-ROM drive or DVD-ROM drive appears to be missing after you install Windows XP (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;320553)
