Just download the latest release of video drivers (14.25.0.4704) from intel website.

Your problem will be fixed for sure.

Dude how did you install Windows 98.

that thing doesnt install in these m/b's:wink:

Infact it refused to install on my 2 year old ASUS (intel) 915g m/b

btw you have to wait for the final version of drivers.:(

have you updated BIOS???
& from where you're downloading GMA updates- ASUS or Intel website.

I am downloading GMA updates from the Intel website . they always have updated copies than ASUS .

btw , i do know about the incompatibility of win98se with asus p5b-vm , thats why it didn't worked for me in the first place , then came my big bro to rescue , he had some workarounds and finally managed it . but the os itself was extremely unstable .
