Has anyone of you installed Windows LongHorn!
I want to install Windows LongHorn.
I opened the setup, it asked me for Product key, after entering Key, it copied setup file to my system, then installed WinPE, completed first phase of setup. Then restarted my system.
On booting, screen shows Dualboot, containing, 'Windows XP Pro..' & 'Windows Longhorn Setup', I entered to the 'Windows Longhorn Setup', then it shows a white progress bar in black screen "Copying Setup Files", then Longhorn Bootscreen appears, then comes an error, with Bluescreen. What is that thing?
__________
Bluescreen shows:

A problem has been detected and windows has been shutdown to prevent damage to your computer.
If this is the first time you have seen this stop error screen, follow these steps.
Check for Viruses...................
Remove any newly installed hardware & drive controllers..............
Run CHKDSK /F to check....................
Restart you computer...

I will surely, but first I have got LongHorn & want to install that.
A friend of mine told me that I have to first unplug all devices, from Motherboard, Modems, printers, etc. I did it but it also failed.
I again got Technical information:

Man, Longhorn was very unstable. It was released during the development phase for preview purposes of the developers. The final version of Vista has changed a lot after those builds. They were not even the beta.
I cannot comprehend why you want to install Longhorn now. :|

Longhorn itself, at any build version whatsoever, is not worth installing.

Vista was called longhorn before it entered beta phase - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Vista. The server is called Longhorn server.
Did I read somewhere that somebody works at Redmond.

It failed once when I tried installing it on Windows XP (without service pack). I don't know which version u have. I have a version that I got on the Digit DVD. The version that I have doesn't even requires a serial key and mind u that its totally free. Try searching through the Digit CD's and DVD's, u may be able to find it on them.

I guess there's something called Longhorn Transformation Pack. Longhorn isn't even supposed to be out in the public.
@shantanu_webmaster what is wrong is this statement
Windows Longhorn is the Windows Server launched
It should rather be Windows Longhorn Server is the Windows Server to be launched.

I can see zilch, nada, zero things in that image, only thing I can see there is a link which says javascript.upgrade()

Hey, what r u telling?
I have Windows LongHorn on a CD of about 600MB, containing SUPPORT, i386, DOCS, BSSCRIPT, setup.exe, INSTALL.HTM, VALUEADD,
I run setup, enter key, it copies setup files to C:\$TEMP_$\ an installs WinPE, and then restarts then it runs setup from boot menu, copies dir, fioles, data, then Longhorn Boot screen appears, then fails, as said by me.

About Longhorn transformation pack, I mentioned it in response to those saying that digit cd/dvd contained longhorn.
Longhorn's copies have leaked out in the public but they shouldn't actually have. I have never said that what he's got is longhorn transformation pack.

The DISK you have is WIndows Xp which is transformed by ... longhirn transformation packs ....

if you see the installation of VISTA TRANSFORMATION PACK you will see that it gives an option of integrating into windows setup.... and BY THE WAY

LONGHORN NEVER CAME ON A CD... it was three cd'd and one DVD.... so you have windows XP HACKED EDITION WITH LONGHORN theme in it
__________
as you can also ssee in the image i PROVIDED.. only DVD .. no single CD
