It is Intel GMA 3000 and not GMA X3000

Why not an LCD display instead of the good ol' CRT? They are better on the eyes, and are more environment friendly...

And premsharma is right, the GMA x3000 comes on the G965 based chipset I think. The x3000 and the 3000 are quite different with the former adding all those texture and vertex blah blah as well as VC-1 decoding. If you want to run Vista, then get one with the x3000 onboard...

LCD is much better, & smaller then CRT to manage & handle.

The only difference between GMA x3000 & 3000 is Intel clear video technology

dudes:D i got DG965WH m/b & it has GMA 3000 (not X 3000).

although the box, intel's website says it has the GMA X3000, but it doesnt.

i've mailed them about this, now waiting for a reply from them.

but the Dolby DTS 7.1 Channel is just awesome:D:D:D (965 WH), saw TopGun (movie), & it really rocked the whole House:twisted:

Pl. suggest a decent configuration with in 35K using Intel E6300 processor. I'd suggest the same config which saurav_cheeta mentioned but I'd recommend 250GB HDD as the difference between the 160GB & 250GB currently is around Rs.500...and you'll still be withing your budget... I just bought one around 50 day ago.
