Which one is the best compression utility.how to make a self extracting file,which can be extracted to specified folder then auto run and install and after installation the the extracted folder is deleted automatically.

Try KGB archiever its the best.And u can create self extracting file with this.

well use winrar or zipgenius.... they r the commonest... kgbarchiver is as good as its made out to be..

ya it does but compression is also too high in comparison to other compression utilities....

best you use winrar. If you want an alternative go for 7Zip which is a great free opensource utility. :) hope that helps

Yes, I just downloaded KGB Archiver. It requires about 500 MB of RAM in it's maximum compression mode. Compression and decompression both take a lot of time. But best results are achieved.

just search for uharc in softpedia,
there are two options win-uha and uharc-gui, (beta but stable)
