hey guys,seems i got a new problem..now for the past few days whenever my win xp home starts up,instead of the desktop screen it automatically opens the My Computer window..wat is the prob here?how can i get rid of it?:mad:

Type gpedit.msc in RUN dialog box and goto: User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System in right-side pane, set "Prevent access to Registry editing tools" to either Not Configured or Disabled.
hey vishal i tried doing this to re enable registry but it didnt work..i am using win xp home edition..:sad:i also tried doing the reg value u gave to type in the Run dialog box but it also didnt work..so i dont think it would work...is there any other way that i can enable reg editing?awaiting ur quick reply..thanx a lot...
