ms-word xp error

seems i got a new problem..ths time its with ms-word xp.whenever i start it an error msg appears saying:

Visual Basic Error:
Compile error in hidden module:BasInterface:mad:
what can this be due to?does it mean i have to reinstall word or wat?or can i restore that file using some other method?any help will be highly appreciated..

If you have ms office cd then repair it...
