Hi to all!
I have 128MB RAM which is tiny for playing great games which I can't upgrade till April:mad: (Gosh!board exams!).
My problem is that my Award BIOS 2004 allocates only 1 or 8 MB ram for graphics which is very low.Pls give me tips how to enhance graphic performance of my comp. Will 512MB RAM be enough to play most of the games??

512 is enough for playing most of the games.
you need to buy a graphic card also with ram

even if u add 512 mb ram u will not be able to play latest games with 8 mb of onboard graphics ram

Thanks for help Wizrulz!
Is there any way I can make my BIOS allocate more space for graphics as I saw in someone's comp with another BIOS which gave 64MB RAM for graphics out of 128MB RAM!!!

Good bye!

hv u tried upgrading ur gfx drivers??
u cud also update(flash) the BIOS, but that can be risky...

i think my friend updated his 865 chipset & gfx drivers & then was able to set it to 64-128 mb

better option will be
sell ur existing ram...or may keep if u do wanna make money out of it
Buy 512 mb ram...and a graphics card...will serve u better...

See even if u get 512 mb ram..adn alloc ate 64 mb ram u will be left with 448 mb ram (Assuming u do not use 128 mb ram).
And now a days a game asks for min 512 to 1gb ram..and with 448 mb ram again u will fal short .....

If your processor is compatible, then you can go for change of motherboard to D101GCC which has superior graphics onboard. You need to increase the RAM to 512 mb as well.

If this is not possible, the other option of allocating more for onboard graphics from system ram will not help either. Some motherboards allow that increasing of RAM for onboar gfx, others don't. Eitherway it won't help.
