Unless you have a real need for speed and processing power such as for high end gaming or video editing, I don't see a need in switching over....

E6800 - 2.93 Ghz ....close enough, guys

well, plannin 2 get a 6600 / 6700, 6800 is way 2 expensive

Intel is planning to launch the C2D 6650, 6750 and 6850 with 1333 MHz FSB soon. I guess that's the 3 GHz C2D that he's referring to.

Ya i am definately willing to switch as i want to make use of Adobe premier and play games that make system bottleneck ijn resources...

Well , there is no 3 GHz Core2 Duo ... but all can surely be oc'ed past that .. me looking for a E4300 , over a E6300 due to the higher multiplier .. :D ..
