Hi Guys,
I want to buy a new computer with a decent configuration in <40,000. I have made a short configuration as :
Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 Processor 2.66 Ghz
Intel D946GZTS Motherboard with integrated graphics, audio, 10/100 ethernet adapter on Intel 946GZ chipset
Transcend 1GB 667Mhz DDR2 Ram
16x Sony DVD-RW
Samsung 104-key keyboard and 3-button optical mouse
Samsung 17-inch Monitor(White)
A Seagate Barracuda ST380811AS, 80GB, 7200rpm SATA HDD

Please suggest other features which I have missed out.
Please also tell me of any compatibility issues if you know
I will be using this desktop as a normal user for some internet surfing and minor gaming.
Thanks.

Intel Core 2 Duo Processor 3.1 Ghz

There is no C2D with a clock 3.1. The max clock of C2D is of Core 2 Extreme x6800 n that is 2.93Ghz.

sorry,
I had just written down the configuration that came in my mind. I did not search for it, since I dont understand most of the benchmark terms. Please suggest a whole good configuration with prices please.
