If that HDD is connected to a PC then install EVEREST to know the rpm. Just google 4 everest. Can't give d link ,typing from opera mini ;-)

You can just go to manufacturer's website and search for your HDD and its specs...

If you are not able to read the speed written physically on the drive, I suggest you use SIW tool to get all the info about HDD.
You can also undergo full system diagnosis from SIW.

Hey... if you donot want to use any third party s/w then just note down your Drive code name from device manager and google it you can get your query solved....Else you have your option in above posts :)
