guys im looking to buy a graphics card i have a budget of around 20k. i personally think card based on GF7800gt will be good for me. also i dont know anything about ATi GPU's . can you people help me in choosing the right one. and what about XFX GF7900

also XFX 256 MB GF 7900 GT DDR3 Rs19.5K

7900 gt is gud, but u shud consider the upcoming dx 10 cards

yeah...but he will get a better deal then.
also if he adds 5k-6k to his budget, i think he can get the 8800gts

He can use 7900Gt for one year and then go for DX10 cards may be at year end or next year....as i guess he being a gamer or works on graphics...he mi8 not be able to wait....

Man are you rich...
20K for a graphics card. I got my whole system for that price and it runs pretty fast too, thanks to the 1 GB RAM. I recently bought 7600GT.
I think you should wait fro DX10 cards in that range before you buy, assuming that you are not willing to spend another 20K in 6 months.:rolleyes:

U can get Leadtek 7950GT 512MB pci-e for 19K else get urself Leadtek 7900GS 256MB for 12K.

ATI 1900 XT 512 MB Card for 15.5K
or if you can wait
ATI 1950 XT pro 512 MB (1Ghz) DDR4 cost 20odd K in US not sure about India though .......

Yea he can buy a 7900GS/GT use it for a year, sell it, add some bucks to it and go for 8800. That I think would be a better move.

Do not get a direct x 9 card now. It is waste of money. wait for few months and Directx 10 comes.
