i have given a boot password for my pc. it was connected to a server. but if i reset the cmos battery the boot password option is disabled. how to solve this problem...

Buddy when u reset the settings, how can u expect that it'll remember ur customized settings? :D
Just enable the boot password option again in BIOS settings. ;)
