i have intel (R) 865GBF motherboard,intel P4 2.8GHz processor,256mb RAM
this machine doesn't support games which has good gfx...
i want 2 upgrade my system with 512RAM n a gfx card. my budget is 10000/-
what gfx card i shud go 4?

well , i dont think 865 suppoorts PCI-E and 7 series come in PCI-E only .
So , 6800series AGP is best for him

well , the manufacturing of agp cards is history now but u still can get agp versions in the market .
I dont think there'll be any AGP 8series cards .
AGP production has been officialy discontinued .

dx 10 cards will only be pci-e based, but u can get 7600 gs AGP dunno abt 7600 gt & higher

Yes it has been and we won't see any 8 series cards but 7 series are available in AGP. Maybe the final few.
