Thank got we don't have to suffer MTNL , i have said this line 100 times in this month , i feel sad for the MTNL users. I hope it gets fixed soon .

btw , i am getting solid 2mbps without a hitch all the time from 28th dec last year.

Lets do some mathematics:

2Mbps = 2097152 bits per second. ---------------[1]

400MB = 3200 Megabits = 3355443200 bits. -------------------[2]

therefore,
seconds taken to exaust [2] using [1] = 3355443200/2097152 = 1600 seconds
= 26.67 MINs

bottomline: You could cross your limit within the 1st half an hour of surfing.

I rest my case.

@shaunak

Dats gud piece of calculation...:)

Evn in bsnl, unlimited users r not gettin ne benefit of increase in speed.

Both 4 MTNL n BSNL, thr is some major upgradation arnd april. dey r shifting to some "multi-ply" or whtevr it is calld (as told by mtnl staff). It is supposed to b later stage of triband.
