i read in digit that the price of this phone has dropped to 10,000
but on the net its like $249, $250...? whats the matter..
and does anyone own this phone..if yes..howz it?

the best sub-10k phone... no doubts... best 2 megapix cam... good audio quality (headphone), only slightly lesser in quality to the superb SE Walkman phone series.

Must-buy for the sub-10k budget.

however if u can stretch ur budget to 12k... u can get a nokia 6233

Best mobile in that category. I personally own it. No problems at all. It's price has dropped from Rs18200/-(when I purchased) to Rs10000/- now!

Audio quality of Nokia 5300,5500 and 6233 (thru headset )is far better dan SE K750i.Also in Nokia 5500 u can listen to stereo internet radio for free.

810 i is better than 750i in the following fields:-


better headset
no joystick
512 mb memory card

latest than 750i
may b fast processor

but no camera shutter...

I regret for late reply. Didn't follow up this thread....
I am facing minor problem in joystick. It misfires sometimes. I should give it for servicing. It must be a dust accumulation problem. I heard this problem in many cases. It gets solved once you give it for servicing.

I had a lot of problem with the joystick in Opera Mini, however it is not the the case in general, still it is a great phone.
