sure its 400??? check the ram.

mine shows 335 mhz.512*2 ddr 400 on nforce 4 ultra.
I used ntune to benchmark my memory.the results were much below the baseline
scores.what can cause that.my disk and graphics(geforce 6600) performance results were much higher than the baseline.

DDR SDRAM or double-data-rate synchronous dynamic random access memory THUS
DDR-400: DDR-SDRAM memory chips specified to operate at 200 MHz
So no problem dude CHILL and ENJOY

mine is also nforce. is it related to clock speed?? bcoz in m/b settings, clock speed shows 200mhz..

Aree baba its perfectly all right

As it is doubel data rate transfer so half speed is used for one rising clock cyle and other half for falling edge of clock cycle...this technical..rets assured nothing is wrong

but isnt it supposed to work at 400mhz??

what about my test results

but isnt it supposed to work at 400mhz??

see in one clock cyle there is one rising edge and a falling edge.......

It achieves greater bandwidth than the preceding single-data-rate SDRAM by transferring data on both the rising and falling edges of the clock signal (double pumped). This effectively nearly doubles the transfer rate without increasing the frequency of the front side bus. Thus a 100 MHz DDR system has an effective clock rate of 200 MHz when compared to equivalent SDR SDRAM, the “SDR” being a retrospective designation.

It is working at 400 MHz no need to take tension

does tht mean tht ddr2 533mhz will show speed of 266mhz
