How to make a damaged cd work using alcohol? or anyway to get complete data from that cd. plz help

the term "damaged" it very much not self explianatory....please do tell extent of damage
AND does the damaged CD gets detected by the ROM???

Some contents of the cd are fine(im able to cpoy to my hd), only some part of it, how can i cpoy them to my hd?

Search for s/w called unstoppable...c if this help..give ur feedback
Also try using ur friends CDrom..as diff cdrom can get diff data form damaged cd..personal experience ;)

Hey use one of the professional s/w only for copying the bad file from ur CD...
name of the s/w is "Bad Copy Pro"......

no use, unstopcp didnt work, the program does not respond after copying some files.

*Here is a process , how you will get a damaged CD work with pure alcohol.
Remember Pure alcohal means that 'chemical shop wala'
1. Take a cotton
2.Dip it in the alcohal. Now when it gets wet....
3. Wipe it in the CD
* Not all damage CD works with it

Ya tell that if u r getting CRC errors. In such a case Alcohol 120% will help U.

cyclic redundancy check => CRC
u can try this also
