Airtel:: Duping Us again...

Today on 25 dec which is CHristmas day Airtel is duping people in another way.
People who hav subscribed to free message service r being charged for sending messages.
R u facing the similar problem??

glad to know :evil: i am a victim of free SMSs. some of my friends (I'll still call them friends ;-) ) are on Hutch with SMS pack. they send SMSs like spams @ 30-40 per day. most of them are same routed via different friends. now it is becoming irritating :mad:

hey check their website u will c that any promo offers regarding SMS are disabled on national holidays, and dont worry I am on hutch and they to do the same (u can confirm this by checking both of their websites)

Its not just Airtel I guess. Today Hutch in Mangalore is charging Re. 1 for sms. I have a prepaid sim with sms @ Re 0.01/message and a post paid sim @ Re. 0.30/message. Both are being charged Re. 1 today. When contacting customer care they confirmed the same and are saying that they have informed us. I have however not received ANY intimation till date! I believe they will charge like this on all festival days.
