I know only one key feature of norton: It eats all the system resources.

Kaspersky Internet Security takes only 15-20MB of disk space (compared to Norton's 180MB) & its so powerful & yet so low on resources.

people that was the problem with norton 2006 no such problems with 2007
symantec has finally understood that their software was bloated now its not
one thing missin in norton antivirus 2007 is an antiphishing tool otherwise it is good & is not heavy on the systems

^^Software bloat (or resource hog) is a term used in both a neutral and disparaging sense, to describe the tendency of newer computer programs to be larger, or to use larger amounts of system resources (mass storage space, processing power or memory) than older versions of the same programs, without concomitant benefits being provided to end users.

Typical feature of bloatware : When using the software you see only a cooler GUI, more memory and disk space usage but don't see anything useful added to the software.

well online Boards are now dominated by KIS/KAV over NIS or NAV...

its quite true in Performance too... KIS is way better than NIS... and in pricing too... i have searched while few months back when u bought few KIS, that in India when u r walking in a shop and buying with Cash its almost half of price what u see listed in their Web Site...

but While with NIS/NAV they dont want to cut the price a single penny...

Bad marketing... :| by Symantec...
