I really dont doubt the capabilities of AMD......
They have defeated Intel's mighty proccy's with low clock frequencies processors.....So just waitin for Core2duo to fade out........

Intel processors are the fastest right now. The FX-74 is in no comparison with the Core2Extreme...

what do you mean BY SINGLE QUAD...
both QUAD MEANS : QUAD CORE
AND its QUAD FX (name) and INTEL ( quad core ) comin in Xtreme series
what the hell man.. even you dont know what is QUAD...

Arre yaar do you even know that Amd is using 2 processors for its quad core architecture while iNtel is using 1 processor.
So AMD=2*intel power consumption
while it is lagging behind almost 10 to 15% in most benchmarks

well what will that tell what i dont already know.
U have to agree it consumes twice as much power without any noticeable performnce increase, if any and that too the top of the line fx 74

RITE NOW INTEL IS TOO ON TOP AS WE ALREADY SAW THE BLOCK IN MANY THREADS....
if AMD is soming with QUAD FX..then guys just wait for intel to come with much more....
other than the poll....AMD QUAD FX and NVIDIA to provide the best products for multi-threaded games and applications...hmmm...thats good na..

I am sure AMD will bounce back with their new processors such as barcelona primarily due to superior architecture that they have compared to Intel's counterpart.
But as of now their is no need to quarrel who is at top!
