Expect New malware attacks ... soon !!!

The hacking community has run out of fresh ideas when it comes to creating malware, according to security vendor Kaspersky Lab.

The company’s report, Malware Evolution: July - September 2006, says: ‘Threats are no longer global, and are not effective for as long as they used to be...there has been no significant development in malware code for some time.’

...we are not seeing threats that would be able to cause millions and millions of pounds of damage, as Klez, Mydoom, Lovesan and Sasser did in the past...

Damaging Malware Are Declining & Older Variants On the Rise! ya, they just don't make malware like they used to...Or at least like they did earlier this year...

...the technical creativity of malware has fallen along with the ability to cause massive damage, such as that created by the MyDoom and Sasser worms of yester years...

btw, these days, malware writers use online scanners such as Virustotal, which check to see if their new code will be detected by antivirus software, said Mikko Hypponen, chief research officer for F-Secure. If the code is detectable, they can make a slight modification and run it through the scanner again.
