hello,
i am the only user in the computer. so i really dont want a login screen to occur. instead i directly want my desktop.
so how do i remove the login screen from my system(atleast temporarily)?

Give following command in RUN:
control userpasswords2
Now uncheck the option "Users must enter username & password to use this computer". :)

go to logon > autologon > check logon automatically...

Yeah TweakUI is another gr8 option. I think that this screen shot do ur job more easy. Microsoft's TweakUI can be downloaded frm Microsoft website.:mrgreen:

If you are not programmer the solution are as below.
1) Go to Add/Remove Programme in control panel.
2) Their you find add/Remove windows componenets. click on that one...
3) Remove the check mark in Internet Information Services(IIS).
4) Click next and let the process finish.
