I have a list of proxies with the IP's and port numbers. I keyed them in IE 6 and tried it out but all it shows is Page cannot be Found.

The method I did tried is

Internet Explorer > Internet Options > Connections > LAN settings > enabled both settings in Proxy server and entered the IP with the port.

FYI, the Automatically detect settings is also enabled.

Is there something wrong?

Internet Explorer > Internet Options > Connections > BOTH SETTING & LAN SETTING > enabled both settings in Proxy server and entered the IP with the port.

Tick AUTOMATICALLY DETECT SETTING on BOTH
click OK.. that would work if the proxy is ALIVE
or u can try one of many programs available on the net for auto changing proxies. or u can use web proxies also.
