hi guys
i am going 2 format my pc today.
but i am confused on which antivirus to go for.
i currently have
1) kaspersky internet security 6.0
2) bitdefender v 10 internet security as the options.

which will provide better performance and gud virus dectection rates plus faster booting process.
plus ive heared of some issues with kaspersky with rediffmail. is it true?

plz throw some light on this.
thnx

I have heard of many issues with Kaspersky. I would advice you on using Bitdefender....

This never ending question keeps on popping up all the time.
Anyways,
I recommend KAV than Bidefender for medium configuration PC. Bitdefender all though equally good in detection rates, consumes more resources. It is good for High-end PC's.

Do not use BitDefender. I was using BitDefender 9 Professional. Whenever I right-clicked on a file and scanned it manually, BitDefender used to delete it from the system, and that too, when the file did not have any infection. I downloaded Windows Vista RC1 from Microsoft's official site and, like a total idiot, ran it through BitDefender's scanner. The stupid thing deleted my 3.6GB ISO and I had to re-download the whole thing.

They might've fixed it in this version though. :?
